Bright Change was involved in helping a Tier 1 Bank to create a Cyber Fraud Fusion Centre Target Operating Model. This was a strategic role to set up the programme structure; project initiation document reflecting the business case requirements.

Bright Change conducted a FCA Visit - The visit involved a deep-dive by the FCA to gain an informed understanding of how the the Tier 1 Bank applies a risk-based approach to financial crime; and for the FCA to observe & assess compliance across the Tier 1 Bank.

Bright change were brought in to roll out a Global Oracle Watchlist Screening (OWS) Solution, as part of a wider High profile Financial Crime Compliance programme which was part of the 5 year Deferred Prosecution Agreement (DPA). The Mandated Group Standard Technology used for the Name Screening of Customers, Staff and Third Party Service Providers. OWS screening solution was for Sanctions, AML, Exit’s, PEP’s, Fraud & Sensitive Sanctioned Countries (SSC).

Bright Change were brought into a Fund Administration Company to help drive the Straight Through Payment Programme with 8 Banks; Bright Change were responsible for identifying; engaging and implementing SWIFT connectivity; which involved moving from MT message types to MX message types to meet the new SWIFT ISO20022 standards. The core objective was to extend the SWIFT solution to a number of the Fund Administration clients who process payments with the Banks.
